    Coming Soon

The following tools are actively in development: Tap Drill Chart (recommended drill sizes for UNC, UNF, and metric threads), Thread Pitch Calculator (TPI-to-pitch conversion and standard thread specs), Surface Finish Calculator (theoretical Ra from feed and nose radius), Material Removal Rate Calculator (MRR for milling and turning), Cycle Time Estimator (total cycle time from cutting parameters), and Hardness Converter (HRC, HRB, Brinell, Vickers scales). These will appear in the Tools hub as they are released.

    Subscription Tiers for New Tools

Basic reference tools (Tap Drill Chart, Thread Pitch Calculator) will be available on all paid plans. Advanced calculators (Surface Finish, MRR, Cycle Time) will require the Team plan or above. The Hardness Converter will be available on all plans. Exact tier requirements will be displayed on each tool card when released.

    Requesting a Tool

To request a new calculator or reference utility, use the in-app issue reporter (click the bug icon in the bottom-right corner) and select 'Feature Request' as the category. Describe the calculation or reference data you need, including any formulas, standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO), or data tables involved. We prioritize requests based on user demand and manufacturing relevance.

    Building Custom Tools

Each tool is a self-contained React component with no backend dependencies. If your organization has developers who want to contribute custom tools, they can follow the component contract defined in the tools architecture: accept no props, use semantic design tokens, perform all math inline with native JavaScript, and register in the tool registry.
