    Accessing User Management

Navigate to the Admin panel from the main navigation menu. The User Management section lists all users in your organization with their email address, display name, current role, team memberships, account status (active/deactivated), and last sign-in date. Use the search bar at the top to find specific users by name or email.

    Viewing User Details

Click on a user's row to open their detail panel. Here you can see: their full profile information, the teams they belong to, their station check-in history, recent activity log entries (sign-ins, work order updates, handoffs created), and any NCRs they have filed. This view helps you understand a user's engagement and responsibilities.

    Changing a User's Role

From the user detail panel, click "Change Role" and select the new role from the dropdown. Role changes take effect immediately — the user's permissions update on their next page load or API call. The change is logged in the activity log with your identity, the previous role, and the new role. Exercise caution when changing roles — upgrading an Operator to Supervisor gives them access to team-wide data and management functions.

    Deactivating a User

If a user leaves the organization or should no longer have access, click "Deactivate" on their profile. Deactivation revokes their sign-in credentials and prevents access to all org data. Importantly, their historical data is preserved: handoff records they created, work order updates they made, NCRs they filed, and activity log entries all remain intact for audit purposes. Deactivated users do not count toward your seat limit.

    Reactivating a User

Deactivated users can be reactivated by an Admin from the user management list. Filter by "Deactivated" status to find them. Click "Reactivate" to restore their access. They will need to sign in again — their credentials are not changed, but their session was terminated at deactivation. Reactivation counts toward your seat limit.

    Bulk Actions

For organizations onboarding or offboarding many users at once, the user management list supports bulk selection. Select multiple users via checkboxes and apply actions like: assign to team, change role, or deactivate. Bulk actions are logged individually in the activity log (one entry per user affected).
