    The Team Selector

The team selector is a dropdown in the header bar that shows your currently active team. If you belong to only one team, this dropdown is informational. If you belong to multiple teams, clicking it reveals all your team memberships. Selecting a different team changes your active context — all data throughout the application (dashboard, queue, stations, analytics) updates to show the selected team's data.

    What Changes When You Switch

Switching teams updates: the station grid (you see that team's stations), the work order queue (you see orders assigned to that team's stations), handoff records (you see handoffs from that team), and analytics (metrics are scoped to that team). Your station check-in status is unaffected — if you were checked into a station on Team A and switch to view Team B, you remain checked in to your Team A station.

    Default Team Behavior

The app remembers your most recently selected team and defaults to it on your next sign-in. If you consistently work with one team, you will rarely need to interact with the selector. If you split time between teams, you may want to switch at the start of each shift to match your physical location.

    Cross-Team Visibility for Supervisors

Supervisors and Admins have the ability to view data from other teams without switching. On certain pages (Queue, Analytics), a team filter allows you to scope the view to any team or "All Teams." This is useful for comparing performance, identifying cross-team dependencies, or managing organization-wide workload.
