    Responsive Layout

JobLine.ai automatically adapts to your screen size. On phones (under 1024px wide), the sidebar navigation collapses into a slide-out drawer accessible via the hamburger menu icon. Cards and tables stack vertically for easy scrolling with your thumb. Dialogs become full-screen on small devices to give you more space for form fields.

    Supported Browsers

On iOS, use Safari or Chrome. On Android, use Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. Make sure your browser is updated to at least the second-most-recent version. Older browsers may not render all features correctly — in particular, some older Android WebView versions can cause issues with dropdown menus and date pickers.

    Add to Home Screen

For a faster, more app-like experience, add JobLine.ai to your home screen. On iOS Safari, tap the share icon (square with upward arrow) and select "Add to Home Screen." On Android Chrome, tap the three-dot menu and select "Add to Home screen" or "Install app." This creates an icon on your home screen that launches JobLine.ai in full-screen mode without browser toolbars.

    Touch-Friendly Interactions

Buttons and interactive elements are sized for touch input (minimum 44×44 pixel tap targets). However, some complex interactions like drag-and-drop on the Kanban board may be less precise on touchscreens. If you find drag-and-drop difficult on your device, use the status dropdown in the work order detail view instead — it achieves the same status change with a simpler tap-and-select interaction.

    Data Usage and Connectivity

JobLine.ai is a cloud-based application and requires an active internet connection. On cellular networks, a typical dashboard load uses approximately 200–500 KB of data. Background refresh polls add minimal additional usage. If you are on a metered connection, consider adjusting the refresh interval in Settings to reduce polling frequency. The app does not currently support offline mode — if you lose connectivity, unsaved changes may not persist.

    Notifications on Mobile

In-app notifications appear within the JobLine.ai interface when you open it. Email notifications for critical events (new handoffs, NCRs) are sent regardless of whether the app is open. To stay informed between app visits, ensure your email notifications are enabled in Settings → Notifications.
