    Strong Passwords

Use a unique password for your JobLine.ai account — do not reuse passwords from other services (email, banking, social media). A strong password is at least 12 characters and includes a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols. Consider using a password manager to generate and store complex passwords securely.

    Sign Out When Finished

On shared computers (shop floor terminals, inspection stations, break room PCs), always sign out when you are done. Leaving your session active allows the next person to access your account, potentially viewing or changing data under your identity. Use the sign-out option in the user menu.

    Recognize Suspicious Activity

If you notice actions in the activity log that you did not perform, or if you receive notification emails for actions you did not take, your account may be compromised. Immediately change your password and notify your Org Admin. They can review the activity log for unauthorized access and take appropriate action.

    Shared Devices

If multiple operators share a single computer or tablet, each person should sign in with their own account at the start of their shift and sign out at the end. Do not use a shared "station account" — individual accounts ensure accurate attribution of handoffs, parts counts, and activity logs. Browser "incognito mode" or "private window" can help prevent sessions from persisting across users.

    Report Security Concerns

If you believe there is a security vulnerability, unauthorized access, or data exposure, report it immediately to your Org Admin and through the in-app issue reporter. Include as much detail as possible: what you observed, when, and any screenshots or error messages. Security issues are treated with the highest priority.
