Position Tolerance

Position controls the allowed variation in the location of a feature of size relative to datum references. When MMC is used, bonus tolerance is available as the feature departs from MMC.

Remember

Position is usually applied to holes and pin features
The tolerance zone is often cylindrical
Datum order matters
